Sat Jun 15 2024	A Meet - Potomac Woods AWAY at Garrett Park Garrett Park Pool Start: 9:00 AM Warm-up: 8:20 AM End: 12:00 PM Meet Entry Closes on June 13, 2024 at Noon. Arrive at PW to Check In and Caravan to Garrett Park: 7:30am (Leave the lot at 7:45am) Warmups: 8:20am Meet Start: 9:00am Officials and Timer Meeting: 8:30am Theme: Pirates of PW! Parking: The parking lot has been reserved for our team. They will have parking attendants in the parking lot to assist with parking should the lot fill up. The Garrett Park Parking Lot across the street from the pool has been reserved for our team. There is also parking on the non-pool side of Cambria Ave and on Raleigh Ave - parking attendants will be available to help if we run out of spaces in the lot. *Please do not block resident driveways and do not park in the areas where orange cones have been placed or on Cambria on the side of the street right next to the pool.* Alternate parking is available on Clermont Ave and Keswick St on the other side of Strathmore Ave Concession Stand: Will be open and selling snacks and drinks Hospitality: Will be available for volunteers at the break Team Lunch: MOD Pizza 12027 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852 Garrett Park Swimming Pool 4427 Cambria Avenue Kensington, MD 20895 Week 1A PW @ GP Results

Sat Jun 8 2024	Potomac Woods Time Trials 2024 Potomac Woods Swim Club Start: 8:00 AM Warm-up: 7:30 AM End: 11:30 AM Meet Entry Closes on June 7, 2024 at 10am. (Entries after this time will not be accepted) Theme: TBD Arrive at PW: 7:15 a.m. Officials and Timers Meeting: 7:30am Meet Start: 8:00am Pool Membership and Swim Team dues MUST BE PAID IN ORDER TO SIGN UP AND SWIM. Time trials is a trial run of a meet, involving SWIM TEAM swimmers (NO PreTeam). Swimmers will have an opportunity to swim different strokes and establish baseline times. Coach Jonny will use these times to determine the participants in our first A Meet of the season on June 15, 2024. All swimmers should participate in time trials. If your swimmer MUST miss this event, please email Coach Jonny before June 5. Hospitality will be provided for volunteers at the break. Snack Bar: The PW Snack Bar will be OPEN and selling Egg Sandwiches, Coffee, Krispy Kreme Donuts, Bethesda Bagels, Bananas, Water, Gatorade, Soda, and other assorted snacks and goodies. Go, PW. Then, stay for a rock, paper, scissors tournament!

Wed May 8 2024	Restaurant Night! Potomac Pizza- Potomac Promenade Start: 4:00 PM End: 8:00 PM Take a night off from cooking and join us for a pizza night at Potomac Pizza! 20% of total sales will go back to the team just by mentioning Potomac Woods. Members of the swim team committee will be there to answer questions if you are thinking about joining pre-team or swim team. If you don't have time to eat there, pick it up for carryout! (When placing an online order, on the far left menu panel there will be a tab that says "FUNDRAISER." For your order to count towards the fundraiser, you must go to the tab, select the fundraiser button and add it to your cart prior to checkout.
