Sat Jun 10 2023	Potomac Woods Time Trials 2023 Potomac Woods Swim Club Start: 8:00 AM Warm-up: 7:30 AM Meet Entry Closes on June 9, 2023 at 10am. (Entries after this time will not be accepted) Theme: Anything But Your Swim Bag or Water Bottle (No glass please) Age Group Colors: 8&Unders - Blue, 9-10 - Green, 11-12 - Yellow, 13-14 - Orange, 15-18 - Red, Coaches & Preteam - Rainbow Arrive at PW: 7:15 a.m. Officials and Timers Meeting: 7:30am Meet Start: 8:00am Pool Membership and Swim Team dues MUST BE PAID IN ORDER TO SIGN UP AND SWIM. Time trials is a trial run of a meet, involving SWIM TEAM swimmers (NO PreTeam). Swimmers will have an opportunity to swim different strokes and establish baseline times. Coach Jonny will use these times to determine the participants in our first A Meet of the season on June 17, 2023. All swimmers should participate in time trials. If your swimmer MUST miss this event, please email Coach Jonny before June 8. Hospitality will be provided for volunteers at the break. Snack Bar: The PW Snack Bar will be OPEN and selling Egg Sandwiches, Coffee, Krispy Kreme Donuts, Bethesda Bagels, Bananas, Water, Gatorade, Soda, and other assorted snacks and goodies. Go, PW. Thu May 25 2023	Pre and Swim Team Open House and Swimmer Evaluations Potomac Woods Swim Club Hello, Future PW Demons! Join the PW Coaches to learn about the PW Pre and Swim Team and have your swimmer evaluated. Be sure to have your swimmer dressed in their bathing suit and goggles. A Sign Up Genius will be posted soon to sign your swimmer(s) up for an evaluation time slot. Sun Jul 31 2022	MCSL Individual All Star Meet Rockville Swim and Fitness Center Start: 7:00 AM The Individual All-Star Meet is held the weekend after the Divisional Meets. Sixteen swimmers and three alternates are invited by the MCSL to participate in each event, based on the fastest times from the dual “A” meets and Divisionals. (Visit mcsl.org to view All-Star standings) Two heats of eight swimmers will swim each event. The swimmers are seeded based on their times. Each swimmer can participate in two individual All-Star events. Let's gather to congratulate the swimmers for their efforts this season. PreTeam swimmers and families are also welcome to attend! All others are asked to park at Ritchie Park or St. Raphael's.
