Thank you to Jonny and Potomac for running a quick and efficient meet! Meet results will be posted to the homepage later today.

There will be another details email about the A relay carnival coming tomorrow. If your swimmer(s) are swimming, we ask that someone from your family volunteers for the meet in some way (even if you have already met your point minimum). The division wide meets are a lot of work to host and we need many hands!

Swim Team and PreTeam- Join your teammates and coaches for our weekly Friday Team Meeting! Our Coaches will announce Demon Droppers, Swimmers of the Week, Time Droppers of the Week and Spirit Award Winners!

A Meet - AWAY this Saturday, June 27 at Calverton

Calverton Swim Club Address: 12615 Galway Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20904

Meet at PW to Caravan: 7:20am (leave PW lot at 7:35am)

Warm Ups: 8:25 - 8:45am

Theme: Animals/Zoo

Official Briefing: 8:30am

Timer Meeting: 8:45am

Meet Start: 9:00am

Parking: There is a lot of parking at Calverton; if their lot fills up, there is street parking available and there is parking across the street at Galway Elementary. No one should park at the church or in the small guard lot to the left of the main entrance of the pool.

Team Area: Our team area will be to the left of the Calverton team area, on the far side of the pool when you walk in, behind the lifeguard stand.

Spectator area: While there is a lot of shade around the pool, there is not much on the pool deck (main spectator area) itself, so families may want to bring shaded chairs. Calverton asks that spectators stay on the spectator side of the pool during the meet.

Concessions: Concessions will be open, and they will have breakfast sandwiches, donuts, bagels, coffee, juice, sports drinks, and other treats. They will accept cash & Venmo. Please bring your small bills to pay for items.

Team Lunch: Join your teammates and coaches after the meet for lunch at Chick Fil-A at Westech Village center in Silver Spring. The address is: 12889 Tech Road, Silver Spring, MD. There is also a Panera, Five Guys and Qdoba in the shopping center if you would prefer something besides Chick Fil-A.

If you do not plan to meet at PW and caravan to Calverton, please email me to let me know so you do not get an early wake up call on Saturday morning to ask where you are. Also, please wait in the parking lot if you arrive before the team so we can walk in together.
