Week 3 2026 Swim Team Information

Good morning, PW Families!!

Happy Father's Day to all of our PW dads! We hope you have a great day celebrating.

Potomac Woods traveled to Rock Creek yesterday for our first away A meet. It was a close one! Final Score – Rock Creek 399.5, Potomac Woods 390.5.

Results have been posted on the home page of our Team Website and all times nave been uploaded and are under your swimmer’s profile in Swimtopia on the website or in the app.

As a reminder, jobs for Friday's social, Saturday's A Meet on June 27th, the Relay Carnival on Sunday, June 28th and the B Meet on July 1st all open today at 10:00am. There are more volunteers for these division wide meets so we are in need of more hospitality donations.  Some of these be dropped off on Friday or Saturday before the meet or even Sunday morning. If you are in need of points, please consider doing that!

Summer Practice Schedule

Practices change to our summer schedule starts Monday! If you are able to attend morning practices, it is highly, highly recommended. The pool is quieter, practice is less crowded and we have a lot more space to spread out. We ask that our afternoon practices are left for those swimmers who attend camps and cannot practice in the mornings! To see our practice schedule, click here.

Looking Ahead- Senior Lunch

On Friday, July 3rd, we will be hosting our Senior meet at Potomac Woods after the A meet. We will be celebrating our senior swimmers- Lyla Anschutz, Evelyn Kertajaya, Bobby Lannan, Connor Myers and  Abraham Watts.

Please RSVP for our senior lunch after the meet by Monday, June 29th at 6pm. We will be selling hamburger/cheeseburger/veggie burger/hot dog, chips and water for $5. There will also be cake served in honor of our graduating seniors. In the RSVP comments, please let us know what your family would likely want to purchase.  You will not be held to your selection in the comments but will give us an idea of how much of each protein to buy.

General Reminders

  • Swimmers need to stay in the team area. Coaches do not have time to hunt for your child. Plus, if they are in the team area, they are bonding and making friends with the team. Parents should stay in the spectator area and out of the team area, thank you in advance.
  • Swimmers may not wear any bathing suits or caps that say another club or high school name (RMSC, NCAP, ASA, etc.) as they can be disqualified from the meet.
  • Attached is the Big Buddy/Little Buddy final list.  Apologies that we forgot to get this out to you all sooner.

Congratulations to the following swimmers who have earned All Star Times so far this season!
