It's beach party/meet time!

Note about the weather:  Storms are predicted for this afternoon. We are hopeful they will pass through prior to the meet. If there are any changes to the start times, we will send an email.

Location: POTOMAC WOODS SWIM CLUB

Arrival Time: 4:45 PM The team area will be the far side of the pool next to the diving area. This area is for swimmers. The team area for PW parents/spectators is to the left when you come in--by the pavilion. Please leave the tables to the right and the grassy area for the River Falls team and families.

Meet Theme: BEACH PARTY! Bring rafts/floats and accessorize as if you were headed to the beach!

Food: Snack bar will be open and will be serving the usual as well as Potomac Pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, and buttered noodles.

Volunteers:   Thank you for signing up to help! Please check in with Rachel or me when you get there. We can't run this meet without you--if you can't make it, please let us know in advance. Please also note that as a volunteer, you need to stay to the end of the meet, even if your swimmer is done for the evening.

Officials and Timers: Meeting at 5:30 to go over roles, lane assignments, etc.

Hospitality: There will be hospitality (free food since you probably missed dinner) available for all volunteers at the break (after backstroke and before breaststroke). This will be set up in the grill area.

Ribbons: Ribbons will be available at the Friday team meeting/social. There are file boxes with folders for each swimmer; the ribbons will be placed in the swimmers' folders. The ribbons from week 1 will also be available then.

Meet Program: The program is attached and available on the PW swim team website. We will be running all events as mixed gender events by age group. If you'd like a print copy, please print one prior to coming to the pool. The meet will not be available on meet mobile this evening.

Pre-team Kickboard Race:  5:50 PM

Meet Start time: 6 PM
