Hi, PW Families!

Finally, it's going to start feeling like summer this week! A few updates for you:

Team Photo & PRACTICE TIME CHANGE

Our team photo will be taken on Friday, June 6th at 5:30. Team shirts will be given out starting at 3:00 on Friday at the pool. Please label your shirt and wear it for the picture! Due to the picture, practice times are shifting. There will not be Preteam Friday.

4:00-4:45- 11 and up

4:45-5:30- 10 and under

5:30-6:00- Team photo (Preteam and Swim Team)

6:00- Team Meeting: Big Sisters/Brothers and Little Sisters/Brother names will be given out!

Time Trials Event Sign up

Don't forget to sign up your swimmer for their events on Saturday. If you will not be in town, please mark your swimmer as "not available." There are specific directions on how to sign up your swimmer, here.

Morning Practices June 16 & 17

If your swimmer is available in the morning on June 16 or 17th and can attend morning practice, please sign up here.

Job Sign-ups

Volunteer jobs for the first Wednesday meet (6/11) are open! Volunteer jobs for the first Saturday meet (6/14) and the second Wednesday meet (6/18) will open at 9:00AM on Sunday, June 8. Moving forward, volunteer sign-ups will open on Sunday at 9:00 AM for the upcoming Saturday and following Wednesday meet. 

We are still in need of a few volunteers for Time Trials Saturday, please sign up if you are able to! You will need to stay for the whole meet.

Senior Lunch Coordinator Needed

Each year, we honor our graduating seniors at the last home meet. This season, we are honoring Madison Heitzmann on July 5th . We will have a small celebration for her at halftime and there is a team lunch at the pool following the meet. We are in need of someone who will be in town and can organize this event for us. It would involve shopping for food in the days leading up to the event and then overseeing the luncheon itself. We will have opportunities for volunteers to grill. Please email me if you are interested in this volunteer job.

Stroke and Turn

If you are at all interested in becoming a stroke and turn official, we would love it! There are still a few online clinics you can still take to become certified. Please let me know if you’re interested.

Private Lessons

Remember, our coaches are available for private lessons! If your swimmer is close to being legal in a specific stroke or has a skill they want to improve, consider booking a couple of private lessons to give them individualized attention to get them where they want to be! Lessons don't just have to be for younger kids! All three of mine (ages 12, 11 and 9) got some last year to tweek strokes!
