Happy Thursday morning!! 

What a B meet versus River Falls last night! Definitely the longest meet I can remember in a long time! A big thank you to all of the volunteers! Your swimmers’ results are posted to the TEAM WEBSITE and the results PDF is on the homepage. Congrats on all the time drops- there were many!

Relay Carnival

Our A Relay Carnival is at Olney Mill on June 30th. I need to turn in all volunteer names at our division meeting on Monday evening. Therefore, volunteer job sign-up for June 30th is opening up this morning at 8AM. If you can volunteer, please sign-up.

A Meet - HOME this Saturday, June 22 versus Daleview

• Please declare your swimmer’s availability NOW (Available OR NOT Available). Doing this helps Coach Jonny create the lineups for A Meets with swimmers that we know are available. 
• Sign-ups CLOSE TODAY, June 22, at Noon.
• Saturday’s A Meet Lineup will be emailed to the team late tonight, or early tomorrow morning
• Please sign up to volunteer if your swimmer makes the A meet. We have jobs for the meet AND for the luncheon after with Daleview (including bringing a bag of ice and a cooler though we would love for you to do much more!)

We are hosting a team luncheon with Dalview on Saturday- all are welcome!  Please RSVP tonight by 8pm so our wonderful snack bar volunteers know how much food to buy!

Team Picture & Meeting- Friday, June 21 at 6pm

Swim Team, Little Demons and PreTeam - Come in your team shirt for our 2024 team picture.  If you have not picked up your t-shirt, I will have it tomorrow at 5:30.  After the picture, join your teammates and coaches for our weekly Friday Team Meeting! Our Coaches will announce Swimmers of the Week, Time Droppers of the Week and Spirit Award Winners! Check to see if you are a Demon Dropper and if your name will be entered into the raffle!

Arrive at PW: 7:45am

Warm-Ups/Pool Party: 8:00am

Theme: Pool Party

Officials Meeting: 8:30am

Timer Meeting: 8:40am

Meet Start: 9:00am

PW Snack Bar: Will be open and selling freshly made breakfast sandwiches, fruit cups, Bethesda bagels, donuts, hot and iced coffee and the usual snacks and drinks.

Hospitality: Will be provided for all meet volunteers at the halftime break.

Olympics

As you read in Jonny's email, our own Potomac Woods swimmer, Erin Gemmell is headed to the Olympics in July! Check out the attached radio clip from George Wallce (one of our own PW announcers) discussing this accomplishment!
