Hello PW Demons and Families!

It is going to be a hot one tonight--make sure the swimmers have their water bottles and stay hydrated.

Location: POTOMAC WOODS SWIM CLUB 

Arrival Time: 4:45 PM The team area will be the far side of the pool next to the diving area. This area is for swimmers. The team area for PW parents/spectators is to the left when you come in--by the pavilion. Please leave the tables to the right and the grassy area for the River Falls team and families. 

Meet Theme: BEACH PARTY!  Bring rafts/floats and accessorize as if you were headed to the beach!

Food: Snack bar will be open and will be serving the usual as well as Potomac Pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, and buttered noodles.

Volunteers: Thank you to those of you that signed up to help! Please check in with me when you get there. We can't run this meet without you--if you can't make it please let us know in advance. Please also note that as a volunteer, you need to stay to the end of the meet, even if your swimmer is done for the evening.

Officials and Timers: Meeting at 5:30 to go over roles, lane assignments, etc.

Hospitality: There will be hospitality (free food since you probably missed dinner) available for all volunteers at the break (after backstroke and before breaststroke). This will be set up in the grill area.

Ribbons: All 12 and under swimmers will receive ribbons for their participation in Wednesday night meets. PLEASE do not try to get these ribbons at the meet; it makes it hard for the volunteers to get their jobs done. ALL RIBBONS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE WEEKLY FRIDAY TEAM MEETING. There are file boxes with folders for each swimmer; the ribbons will be placed in the swimmers' folders.

Meet Program: The program is attached and available on he PW swim team website. If you'd like a print copy, please print one prior to coming to the pool. We plan to have meet information available via the app Meet Mobile through-out the meet, assuming the WIFI cooperates.

Meet Start time: 6 PM
