Week 2 Swim Team Information
Hello, hello!
Happy Father’s Day to all of our PW Dads! We hope you have a wonderful day of celebrations. Potomac Woods visited Garrett Park yesterday morning for the first A Meet of the season. Final Score – Potomac Woods 380, Garrett Park 412. Congratulations to all of our swimmers that participated! Results can be found on the home page of our Team Website.
Daleview/PW Luncheon
Mark your calendars for 11:15ish to join our team and Daleview for a lunch! We will be grilling and hosting the Daleview Feet after the meet on June 22nd. (Remember, Jonny's wife, Emily, is the coach of Daleview!) All are welcome, regardless if you swim in the meet! You can RSVP on the team calendar.Pool Float
This is the week to buy the normally off-limit pool floats! Our theme for Wednesday and Friday is pool party and swimmers will be allowed to bring their floats in the pool instead of warming-up! If you have an air pump to help those who don't have their floats pumped up, please bring that on both days!
Week 2 Information:
Practices change to our summer schedule tomorrow! If you are able to attend morning practices, it is highly recommended. The pool is quieter, practice is less crowded and we have a lot more space to spread out. We ask that our afternoon practices are left for those swimmers who attend camps and cannot practice in the mornings! To see our practice schedule, click here.
B Meet – HOME versus River Falls this Wednesday, June 19 at Potomac Woods! Sign-ups CLOSE Monday, June 19 at 5 p.m. Please declare your swimmer’s attendance (attending/not attending) and sign up for the events they would like to swim. Jonny will make final decisions based on what he is seeing practice.
