Hello, Demon Families!!

Potomac Woods traveled to Olney Mill yesterday for our fifth and final dual A Meet of the season. It was a sunny, hot and close meet. Final Score – Potomac Woods 378.5 vs Olney Mill 410.5. Results have been posted on the home page of our Team Website.

We also had a very fun and successful Mini Meet this morning honoring Sarah Auer.  Thank you to all the families and swimmers who came out and supported that cause.  It was great to see so many young swimmers dropping time and trying new events!

B Relay Carnival - Tuesday, July 18 at River Falls

We will be attending the B Relay Carnival on Tuesday, July 18 at River Falls Pool. This is a really fun event in which the entire teams participates. Please declare if your swimmer is available by 11:59 PM TONIGHT. This is important so that Jonny can make sure he gets everyone into the event that is attending and doesn't have to scramble to find swimmers who are not there on Tuesday.

• Meet Theme: RED Out
• Arrive by: 5:30pm (No warm-ups)
• Meet Start: 6:00 pm
• Hospitality: will be available for volunteers at the break.
• Chairs: Bring your own! It will be a crowded meet so please plan accordingly.
• Parent Relay: If you are interested in swimming in the parent relay, please contact Ellen Weiss.

We will not need volunteers for this meet; if you signed up you do not need to worry about doing that job.

Relay Carnival Food

ORDER NOW! River Falls Swim Team has booked Rocklands BBQ food truck to help you feed your families at the B Relay Carnival on Tuesday July 18! Since no one wants to wait in a long line during a fun swim meet, we have arranged for pre-orders to be taken via this link until Monday 7/17 at noon. The River Falls Swim Team snack bar will still be open, selling pizza and pasta for those who aren't into BBQ, as well as all of the usual drinks (Gatorade, water, soda, seltzer, juice), chips, and candy. We're looking forward to a fun night!

Notes for pre-ordering: the link may not work properly in Chrome. Double check the location and make sure to select 7915 Horseshoe Ln for Tues. July 18. You are able to change the time of your pickup by selecting "Change" under the location and switching from "ASAP" to "Later". Some options (e.g., rib platter) are only available with pre-order. Practices

Last regular season practice will be Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Practices starting on Wednesday will be for Divisional and All Star swimmers only. More information will be shared directly with those families. Jonny will be sharing the final line-up later today.
