Hello, PW Swim Team Families! We have a lot of information for you this week!

Great job to all of our swimmers and volunteers that participated in Time Trials yesterday! Your swimmer's results can be found under your account on the Team Website and the meet results can be found under the Meet Result tab of our homepage on the right side.

Meet Photos: Our Team Photographer, Will Hicks, takes amazing photos of our swimmers at our swim meets and organizes them on SmugMug for your viewing pleasure. Please check them out HERE. Password is Demons (with a capital D). You can download them for free. Thank you, Will!!

General Reminders

• Please do not take photos or videos from behind the start end of your swimmer's lane as it gets in the way of timers and officials.
• Please do not wear caps with other team's logos or names on them. This is an MCSL rule and caps may be worn inside out so there is nothing showing if swimmers prefer.
• If you can no longer fufill the job you signed up for to volunteer, please cancel it in SwimTopia so someone else can fill your spot.  If you can no longer cancel it because it is too close to the meet, please email me so we can find a replacement and are not scrambling at the meet. 

Week 1 Information:

B Meet – AWAY - Wednesday, June 14 - at Country Glen

• Sign up NOW! Sign-ups CLOSE Monday, June 12 at 6 p.m. Please declare your swimmer’s attendance (attending/not attending) and sign up for their events. (You can declare and sign up for ALL meets for the entire season NOW). Sign up for any events your swimmer would like to swim and Jonny will adjust the line up as necessary.
• Sign up to Volunteer! Sign up to volunteer by 6pm on Monday.
• Meet Theme: Toga
• Arrive by: 5:00pm
• Warm-ups: 5:20pm
• Officials and Timers Meetings: 5:30 pm
• Meet Start: 6:00 pm
• Hospitality will be available at the break for volunteers

Team Photo – Friday, June 16 at 6:00 p.m.

• Will Hicks will be taking the Team Photo this Friday. Both PreTeam and Swim Team members should wear their team t-shirt and bring their biggest, cheesiest smile!  If you registered between May 1-May 30th, you will be able to get your t-shirt on Friday afternoon right before the picture!

Due to our Team Photo, we have modified Friday evening practices:

• PreTeam and 6 & under practice is CANCELED
• 4:30 - 5:15pm - 9 - 12 Year Olds
• 5:15 - 6:00pm - 7&8 Year Olds + 13 & Olders

Team Meeting and Social – Friday, June 16 immediately following the Team Photo

• Team Meeting - Join your teammates and coaches for our weekly Friday Team Meeting! Coaches Jonny, Ogi, Sophia and Sophie will be announcing Swimmers of the Week, Time Droppers of the Week and Spirit Award Winners!
• Team Social - Bingo - The fabulous Sharon Sutton will hosting Bingo and there will be prizes for winners!

A Meet - AWAY this Saturday, June 17 at Tanterra

• Please declare your swimmer’s availability (Available/Not available). Doing this helps Coach Jonny create the lineup with swimmers that we know are available. You can declare your swimmer’s availability for the entire season now if you know your schedule!
• Sign-ups CLOSE Thursday, June 15 at Noon.
• Top 3 PW swimmers in each of the stroke events and Top 6 PW swimmers in the freestyle events in each age group are chosen by Coach Jonny to swim in the A meet.
• Meet Lineup will be emailed on Thursday evening. Remember to check the lineup even if your swimmer is not the top 3 or top 6 in freestyle as the top swimmers may not be available to swim Saturday so your swimmer may be placed in the lineup.
• Please sign up to volunteer if your swimmer makes the A meet.  If you volunteered and your swimmer is not swimming in the A meet, please cancel your volunteer job.
