Happy Thursday morning!! What a B meet versus River Falls last night! It always seems to storm on Wednesday nights in the summer. Thank you to all of the volunteers and congrats to the swimmers for posting some fast times! Your swimmers’ results have been posted to the TEAM WEBSITE.

A Meet - HOME this Saturday, June 25 versus Twin Farms

• Please declare your swimmer’s availability NOW (Available OR NOT Available). Doing this helps Coach Jonny create the lineups for A Meets with swimmers that we know are available. You can declare your swimmer’s availability for all A and B Meets for the entire season!
• Sign-ups CLOSE TODAY, June 23, at Noon.
• Saturday’s A Meet Lineup will be emailed to the team on Thursday
• Please sign up to volunteer if your swimmer makes the A meet - there are still a couple of positions open. 

Team Meeting - Friday, June 14 at 6:00 p.m.

Swim Team and PreTeam - join your teammates and coaches for our weekly Friday Team Meeting! Our Coaches will announce Swimmers of the Week, Time Droppers of the Week and Spirit Award Winners!

Team Social - Friday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. – DESSERT BAKE OFF

Back by popular demand is the PW Dessert Bakeoff! Desserts will be judged in 4 categories:

• Cakes/Cupcakes
• Cookies
• Brownies
• Other

Swimmers, make your favorite dessert and bring it labeled, portioned and ready to eat. Our PW Coaches will (very willingly) sample each entry to determine their favorite in each category.

A Meet Details

Location: Potomac Woods Swim Club

Arrive at PW: 7:45am

Warm-Ups: 8:00am

Theme: Disney Characters

Officials and Timer Meetings: 8:30am

Meet Start: 9:00am

PW Snack Bar:  Will be open and selling Ize's bagels, Chick Fil A breakfast sandwiches, Donuts, Starbucks Coffee and the usual snacks and drinks.  

Hospitality:  Will be provided for all meet volunteers at the halftime break.

Team Lunch

Stay at PW (or come to PW) after our home meet this Saturday and enjoy Bethesda Bagel Sandwiches with your coaches, teammates and their families!
