Hello Demon Families!

When we started preparing for the 2021 season in February, we were still in the thick of the Covid-19 pandemic. There was so much uncertainty as to how the season would look with so many restrictions and protocols in place. The Swim Team Committee was determined to give the swimmers and families of PW the best season we possibly could. Never did we think back in February that this summer would end up being as normal as it was!

Thank you to each and every PW Swim Team family for a wonderful season. We can all probably agree that it is exactly what we needed after this past year. Thank you for volunteering, thank you for your support and thank you for being a part of our community; our summer family. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Individual All Star Meet

Congratulations to our swimmers representing PW at this Saturday’s Individual All Star Meet:

• Connor McCullough: Boys 9-10 25 Freestyle and 25 Butterfly
• Melina Anschutz: Womens 15-18 100 IM and 100 Backstroke
• Audrey Csokmay: Womens 15-18 100 Breaststroke

Come cheer them on at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center Saturday starting at 8 a.m.

2022 Season

Potomac Woods has been assigned to Division J. We will compete against Garrett Park, Olney Mill, Rock Creek, Potomac Glen and Twin Farms.

2022 Tentative A Meet Schedule:

• June 11 - Time Trials
• June 18 - Away at Olney Mill
• June 25 - Home vs. Twin Farms
• June 26 – July 10 – A Relay Carnival Window
• July 2 - Away at Garrett Park
• July 9 - Home vs. Potomac Glen (Senior Meet)
• July 12 - Coaches Long Course
• July 16 - Away at Rock Creek
• July 23 – Divisionals
• July 30 & 31 - All Star Weekend
