Good Afternoon, Demon Families!

Potomac Woods hosted Forest Knolls this morning for our fourth A meet of the 2021 season. We had so much fun celebrating our graduating seniors – Abbey Damonte, Caitlyn Rascher, Molly May and Jacob Rosner. A few of PW’s finest alumni/past coaches even joined in on the fun. Once a demon, always a demon!

Week 5 Information:

This is our final week of the regular swim team season.

B Meet – AWAY at Country Glen this Wednesday, July 14 – Last B Meet of the Season

• Sign-ups CLOSE Monday, July 12 at 6 p.m.
• Please declare your swimmer’s attendance (attending/not attending) and sign up for their events. (You can declare and sign up for ALL meets for the entire season NOW)
• Sign up to Volunteer!
• Meet Theme: Luau: Leis, Hawaiian Shirts, Grass Skirts and Coconut Bras
• Arrive by: 5:10 pm
• Warm-ups: 5:25 pm
• Officials and Timers Meetings: 5:30 pm
• Meet Start: 6:00 pm
• Team Caps will be for sale for $15 cash or check. Find Ellen Weiss or Rachel Ossman to purchase one.

Coaches Long Course Meet

• Tuesday, July 13 at 6 p.m. at Rockville Swim and Fitness Center – Come cheer on our Demons!
• Connor McCullough will be representing PW in the 9-10 boys 50 fly
• Andie Young will be representing PW in the 8 and Under girls 50 free and 50 backstroke
• Swim Fast Andie and Connor!!

Team Breakfast – Friday, July 16, 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.

• Swim Team and PreTeam - Join your teammates and coaches for our weekly Friday morning Team Breakfast! Coach Jonny will be announcing Saturday's A Meet lineup, Swimmers of the Week, Time Droppers of the Week and Spirit Award Winners!
• Grab and Go breakfast foods will be available for purchase.
• Please RSVP so we know how much food to provide.

• Aloha!! Come to the Island of Potomac Woods for a limbo contest and to make a hibiscus flower craft with your preteam and swim team friends!

A Meet - AWAY this Saturday, July 17 at Westleigh

• Please declare your swimmer’s availability (Available/Not available).
• Sign-ups CLOSE Thursday, July 15 at Noon.
• Meet Lineup will be announced at Team Breakfast and emailed on Friday.
• Please sign up to volunteer if your swimmer makes the A meet
