Hello, PW Swim Team Families! We have a lot of information for you this week – please read all the way to the end!

Great job to all of our swimmers and volunteers that participated in Time Trials! Results can be found under your account on the Team Website.

Week 1 Information:

B Meet – Intrasquad Black versus Red HOME this Wednesday, June 16 at Potomac Woods!

• Sign up NOW!  Sign-ups CLOSE Monday, June 10 at 6 p.m. Please declare your swimmer’s attendance (attending/not attending) and sign up for their events. (You can declare and sign up for ALL meets for the entire season NOW)
• Sign up to Volunteer!
• Meet Theme: Black vs. Red – Coach Jonny will be assigning swimmers into a Black team and a Red team – wear your team colors!
• Arrive by: 4:45 pm
• Warm-ups: 5-5:30 pm
• Officials and Timers Meetings: 5:30 pm
• PreTeam Kickboard Race: 5:45 pm
• Meet Start: 6:00 pm
• Snack Bar: The PW snack bar will be open and selling Potomac Pizza, Chick Fil A Sandwiches and Nuggets along with other snacks and beverages.
• Hospitality will be available at the break for volunteers.
• Team T-shirts will be available for pickup from Jenni Templeman at the beginning of the meet.
• Team Caps will be for sale for $15 cash or check. Find Ellen Weiss or Rachel Ossman to purchase one.

MORNING PRACTICE BEGINS FRIDAY, JUNE 18!

Team Apparel Store – Open June 14 – June 18

• If you missed out on ordering PW apparel the first time, never fear! The PW Apparel Store will REOPEN Monday – Friday this week!! Orders should arrive in 2-3 weeks.

Team Photo – Friday, June 18 at 5:30 p.m.

• Will Hicks will be taking the Team Photo this Friday. Both PreTeam and Swim Team members should wear their team t-shirt and bring their biggest, cheesiest smile!

Team Social – Poster and Age Group Flag Making – Friday, June 18 at 6:00 p.m.

• Join your teammates and coaches to make posters and age group flags for our first home A meet on Saturday! Poster board, flags and markers will be provided, just bring your inner artist!

Team Breakfast – Friday, June 18, 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.

• Swim Team and PreTeam - Join your teammates and coaches for our weekly Friday morning Team Breakfast! Coach Jonny will be announcing Saturday's A Meet lineup, Swimmers of the Week, Time Droppers of the Week and Spirit Award Winners!
• Grab and Go breakfast foods will be available for purchase.
• Please RSVP so we know how much food to provide.

A Meet - HOME this Saturday, June 19 at Potomac Woods

• Please declare your swimmer’s availability (Available/Not available). Doing this helps Coach Jonny create the lineup with swimmers that we know are available. You can declare your swimmer’s availability for the entire season now if you know your schedule!
• Sign-ups CLOSE Thursday, June 17 at Noon.
• Top 3 PW swimmers in each of the stroke events and Top 6 PW swimmers in the freestyle events in each age group are usually chosen by Coach Jonny to swim in the A meet.
• Meet Lineup will be emailed on Friday.
• Please sign up to volunteer if your swimmer makes the A meet
