Time Trials Information - Please Read
Time Trials are THIS SATURDAY, June 12, 2021!
It’s the official
start to swim meet season! Time Trials is an inner-squad meet where swimmers
establish base times for the season and get to “practice” swimming in a meet.
If you haven’t done so
already, please sign your swimmer(s) up for Time Trials by NOON on
Thursday, June 10. (Instructions on how to sign your swimmer(s) up are
on the website HERE and
at the bottom of this email) If your swimmer will NOT be attending Time Trials, please indicate "not attending" in the meet sign up. Also, if you are not sure which strokes to sign your swimmer up to swim, make your best guess and Jonny will make the final decision when creating the line up.
Swim team registration dues MUST BE PAID in order for your swimmer(s) to practice, swim in Time Trials and meets as well as participate in swim team events.
Volunteers: There are volunteer positions left to fill!! Please sign up if you haven’t already done so. We appreciate our parent
volunteers.

Please arrive at
Potomac Woods at 7:15am
Warm Ups: 7:30am
Timer and Officials
Meetings: 7:30am (If
you signed up to be a timer or official, you must attend the meeting!)
Meet Start: 8:00am
Team T-shirts: Team t-shirts will be available for pickup at Time Trials!
Team Apparel: If you ordered Team Apparel, it will be available for pickup at Time Trials!

Concession
Stand: Time Trials start
bright and early Saturday morning!! Don't worry about rushing to pack snacks or
stopping to get coffee. The snack bar will be open and the PW Swim Team will be
selling Starbucks Coffee, Milk, Krispy Kreme Donuts, Ize’s Bagels, Bananas,
Water, Gatorade, Soda, and other assorted goodies. Be sure to bring cash and
support our swim team.

To Sign your Swimmer
up for Time Trials (and B Meets):
- https://potomacwoodsswimteam.swimtopia.com
- Log into your family account.
- Find Time Trials either on the Home
Page or under the Meet Sign Up Calendar Tab. - Click the Green MEET ENTRY Button
- Click the Red EDIT Tab
under your swimmer's name - For EACH of your swimmers, select an
option from the drop down list next to their names: - (undeclared)
- Not attending this Meet
- Attending this Meet
- Check the boxes to select the events your swimmer
wishes to swim from the list provided - Click SAVE to record your choices
- Repeat for any additional swimmers.
*Please Declare
"Not Attending this Meet" if your swimmer cannot attend Time Trials,
let Coach Jonny know and then sign up for June 16th's Intrasquad B Meet.
*Note: Selecting events is only a request. The
coaches will make a final decision as to who will swim in which events.

- Click on the Red Sign Up for Jobs Button
- 6.Select your volunteer shifts (Note: one parent may
sign up both parents for jobs -- scroll down and you’ll see the other
parent listed).
- Click Save
