Hello PW Swim Team and PreTeam Families!

We have good news and we have great news!

Due to the changes in Montgomery County Covid restrictions, we will be allowed to welcome spectators (good news) and utilize a full slate of volunteers at swim meets (great news). You will be allowed to watch your swimmers compete AND volunteer at meets!

The PW Swim Team could not exist without the help of parent volunteers. It takes approximately 35 parent volunteers to run a swim meet!

To ensure we have all volunteer positions filled at all meets and events, we will be reinstating the Volunteer Point System. Every PW Swim Team family is required to volunteer. PreTeam families are NOT required to volunteer but we would never turn away your help. Swimtopia, our team management software, tracks each family’s volunteer progress using a point system. Every volunteer duty is assigned a point value and each family will be given points when the duty is complete.

The opportunity to sign up for volunteer jobs will be available very soon. (Job sign up is actually open for Time Trials on June 12!) If your schedule presents a challenge for service during meets or events, please contact Mara Csokmay to make alternate arrangements. There are plenty of behind the scene volunteer opportunities.
