Hello, PW Swim Team Families!

Congratulations to Melina Anschutz for breaking Mohican’s 15-18 Girls 100 backstroke pool record at the A Meet yesterday. Way to swim, Melina!!

Week 4 Information

B Meet (All swimmers) – Wednesday, July 3 at HOME versus River Falls

• Please take a moment to declare your swimmer’s attendance, sign up for the events they would like to swim and then sign up to volunteer: https://potomacwoodsswimteam.swimtopia.com
• Sign-ups CLOSE Monday, July 1 at 6:00 p.m.
• Remember, if your swimmer is seeded first or second on the ladder in an event, please refrain for from signing them up for those events.
• Arrive by: 4:45 p.m.
• Warmups: 5:00 p.m.
• Officials and Timers Meetings: 5:30ish
• Meet Start: 6:00 p.m.
• The PW Snack Bar will be selling pizza, Chic Fil A sandwiches and nuggets as well as the usual drinks and snacks.
• Meet Theme: Patriotic – Wear your Red, White and Blue!
• King or Queen of the Pool – Swimmers AND PARENTS!!
• We will be holding the 13&Over King or Queen of the Pool 25 Freestyle race at the end of the B Meet. Sign your swimmer up as you would any other event.

Friday Morning Team Breakfast

• Join your teammates and coaches for Friday morning Team Breakfast this Friday, July 5 from 9-9:30 a.m. Breakfast foods will be served for a nominal fee. The coaches will announce the Swimmers of the Week, Spirit and Time Dropper awards and the A meet lineup. Thank you to Sarah Kerchner and Laura Raimond for coordinating the team breakfasts.

Team Social

• Friday, July 5, 6:00 p.m. – Poster Decorating Party for our Graduating Seniors

A Meet (Select Swimmers) – Saturday, July 6 at HOME versus Darnestown

• Please declare your swimmers’ availability for this Saturday’s A Meet by Thursday, July 4 at NOON.
• Jolyn bathing suit company will be hosting a trunk show during the A meet!!
• We will be celebrating our 9 Graduating Seniors at halftime: Caroline Cornish, Samantha Damonte, Clarissa Halpern, Caroline Howley, Aaron Lazar, Meghan Maloney, Trent Scholosser and Megan Sharkey. We will miss you!!!

Team Lunch – Saturday, July 6 immediately following the A Meet

• Stay after the A Meet to enjoy lunch with the team and celebrate our Graduating Seniors
• Hamburger/Veggie Burger/Hot dog, chips and a drink for $5!!
