Hello, PW Families!

Great job to all of our swimmers and volunteers that participated in Time Trials! Congrats to 13-14 swimmer Erin Gemmell for breaking the PW pool record in the 100 IM!

We are correcting some errors with the meet results but they should be uploaded by tomorrow night. I apologize for the delay. Results can be found under your account on the PW Swimtopia web page. Week 1 Information:

B Meet - HOME this Wednesday, June 12 at Potomac Woods!

• Sign-ups CLOSE Monday, June 10 at 6 p.m. Please declare your swimmer’s attendance (attending/not attending) and sign up for their events. (You can declare and sign up for ALL meets for the entire season NOW)
• Meet Theme: Pajama Party – Wear your pajamas!
• Arrive by: 4:45 pm
• Warm-ups: 5:00 - 5:25 pm
• Officials and Timers Meetings: 5:30 pm
• Meet Start: 6:00 pm
• Food: The PW snack bar will be open and selling Paisano’s pizza, Chick Fil A Sandwiches and Nuggets along with other snacks and beverages. Carmen’s Italian Ice will also be onsite and available for purchase. Hospitality will be available at the break for volunteers.

Team Photo – Friday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m.

• Will Hicks will be taking the Team Photo this Friday. Both Pre Team and Swim Team members should wear their team t-shirt and bring their biggest, cheesiest smile!

Team Social – Pep Rally – Friday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m.

• This Friday’s team social is a good ol’ fashioned pep rally! Join the coaches and your fellow PW teammates the night before our first A meet to learn some PW cheers!

A Meet - AWAY this Saturday, June 15 at Quince Orchard

• Please declare your swimmer’s availability (Available/Not available). Doing this helps Coach Jonny create the lineup with swimmers that we know are available. You can declare your swimmer’s availability for the entire season now if you know your schedule!
• Sign-ups CLOSE Thursday, June 13 at Noon.
• Top 3 PW swimmers in each of the stroke events and Top 6 PW swimmers in the freestyle events in each age group are usually chosen by Coach Jonny to swim in the A meet.
• Meet Lineup will be emailed on Friday.
• Please sign up to volunteer if your swimmer makes the A meet
