PreTeam begins TOMORROW!
Hello, PW PreTeam Families!!
PreTeam practice begins tomorrow, June 3, from 4:45 – 5:30 pm.
Please have your swimmer(s) suited up with goggles on and the coaches will meet
you by the green awning at the 5 foot end of the pool.
Payment and T-shirts
If you haven't already sent in your payment ($150 made out
to PWST), please bring it to practice tomorrow. I will be there to collect your
checks at the beginning of practice. I will also have the team t-shirts for
those that are paid in full.
The PreTeam Practice
Schedule is as follows:
June 3 – June 14
Monday – Friday Evenings
4:45 - 5:30 pm
(NO Practice Wednesday, June 12)
June 17 – July 12
Monday and Wednesday Mornings 9:00 – 9:30 am
Monday Afternoons 4:30 - 5:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday Afternoons 4:00 - 4:30 pm
Volunteering and
Meets
Also, I've had a lot of questions about volunteering and
swim meets. PreTeam exclusive families do NOT need to acquire volunteer
hours. PreTeamers do not swim in B or A meets until officially moved up
to swim team. However, there will be opportunities for our
PreTeamers to participate in a race at the beginning of a B meet or two later
in the season.
Team Socials
PreTeam is always welcome to attend Swim Team socials and events.
(Please check the schedule on our website.) That being said…
Our first Team Social is Friday, June 7 at 6:30 pm! We will have an Ice Cream Social served up by
our amazing assistant coaches, Mara, Morgan and Rafaela, to celebrate the start
of the season!
