Hello, Potomac Woods Swim Team Families!!!  

The PW Swim Team Committee met this past Sunday to begin working on the 2019 season!  We are excited to announce that registration for swim and pre teams will open on March 1st this year.  Please visit the swim team website (https://potomacwoodsswimteam.swimtopia.com/) and click on the Registration button to sign your swimmer(s) up on or after that date.  

Our swim team, aside from the coaches, is run completely by volunteers!  Every social function, swim meet, pizza night, banquet, etc. is organized and run strictly by volunteers.  We are trying to fill the following volunteer positions for the 2019 season so we can continue to offer these fun events and give our kids the best swim team experience:    

Automation Computer Operator - enter times in to the computer at swim meets (at least 1 volunteer)

Banquet Coordinator - plan this year's team banquet (2 volunteers)

Meet Official - stroke and turn judge, referee, starter at swim meets 

Team Social Coordinator - work with the coaches and committee to plan the swim team's social events for the summer.  (1-2 volunteers)

Volunteer Coordinator - work with the committee to organize volunteers for all meets and social events

Snack Bar - work with the committee to help run the snack bar during meets and social events

We are also looking for A Rep and B Rep trainees to learn the positions and take over for the 2020 season.  

Each of these volunteer position includes points that are applied toward the family's point requirement for the season.
